8 Years Delivering Professional Cleaning Across Chester & North Wales
Colin Lightfoot was deputy manager of a children's home run by Cheshire West and Chester Council. When the council reduced to one home, a friend told him he needed a backup plan. That's how Lightfoot Cleaning Services started.
Twenty-six years working in care taught Colin empathy, patience and how to deal with people properly. Those things don't leave you when you change jobs. Lightfoot Cleaning Services operates the way a care service does. You're looked after before, during and after every job.
Eight years on, the business cleans for councils, schools, care homes, power stations, pub groups and homeowners across Chester and North Wales. We provide commercial cleaning services and domestic carpet cleaning across the region. The proudest moment is still coming. Colin made a promise to his mum. When the mortgage is paid off, that will be the moment.

Connar Parry
Lead Technician
Connar Parry came into the business after Colin's daughter introduced them. He needed direction and Colin needed someone he could trust. Four years later Connar is the lead technician. He's thorough, reliable and technically very good at the work.

Every job uses a van-mounted truck cleaning system, the same commercial-grade equipment used by professional cleaning companies across the UK. These deliver far greater suction and heat than any portable machine or rental unit.
The result: deeper cleaning, faster drying, and no risk of damage to carpets or underlay. Carpets are typically ready for use within 2 to 4 hours. For venues where downtime is critical, we also offer low-moisture cleaning with carpets dry within the hour. That standard applies on every visit, domestic or commercial.

Yes. Colin and Connar both hold current DBS checks. We work regularly in schools, care homes and healthcare settings where this is a requirement and we carry full documentation.
